Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By downloading or using VroomVoice ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Your use of Google Play is additionally governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.
2. What the app does
VroomVoice plays an audio announcement you choose and can open a music app you choose when your phone connects to a vehicle's Bluetooth. All configuration and data stay on your device (see the Privacy Policy).
3. Driving safety — important
The app is designed to work automatically, without interaction, precisely so that you do not need to touch your phone in the car. You agree to:
- Set up and adjust the app only while the vehicle is parked.
- Never view, touch, or operate your phone while driving.
- Comply with all laws regarding phone use in vehicles in your jurisdiction.
Audio playback volume is under your control; configure it so it does not startle you or mask traffic sounds. You are solely responsible for safe operation of your vehicle.
4. License
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Android devices you own or control, in accordance with these terms and Google Play's terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the app except where the law permits it regardless of this restriction.
5. Your content
Announcement sounds and photos you select remain yours. The app only stores references or private copies on your device to provide its features and claims no rights to them. You are responsible for having the rights to any audio you use.
6. Purchases
Paid features are billed through Google Play. Prices are shown before purchase. Refunds are handled per Google Play's refund policy. Purchases are tied to your Google account per Google Play rules.
7. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The app depends on Android system behavior (Bluetooth events, background execution, battery optimization) that varies by device manufacturer and OS version; automatic playback is not guaranteed on every device in every situation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beach Bum Birds, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim (or USD $10 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
These terms apply until terminated. They terminate automatically if you fail to comply with them; you may terminate at any time by uninstalling the app.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated; the current version will always be posted at this URL with its effective date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
